Successful production of the SU-27UB aircraft at the Irkutsk Plant has verified the high potentials of the technology and modern equipment available at the Plant. The two-seater version of the SU-27 all-weather supersonic fighter-interceptor of the fourth generation has been designed by the design bureau named after P. O. Sukhoi. Although the flying performance of the two-seater version is actually equal to that of the single-seater aircraft, the two-seater aircraft offers greater combat advantages. The integrated aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft results in its unique flying performance. The aircraft is assuming its right place as the best fighter of nowadays and has won recognition at many international air shows. The aircraft is the basic aircraft of the Russian Air Forces, and is delivered to China.
